From 2028, Year 11 has three compulsory subjects. New options open up at Years 12 and 13 — including practical, industry-led pathways.

What stays the same
Familiar subjects — history, geography, biology, physics, chemistry, art, music, drama, PE, languages, technology, accounting, economics, and more — continue. They’re being mapped onto the new curriculum and the A+ to E grading scale, but the subject menu isn’t being slashed.
